The Orange had to play their first nine ACC games without the head coach and lost four in a row to start conference play.
Freshman guard Malachi Richardson is second on the team in scoring with 13.6 points to go along with 4.6 boards per game.Syracuse has struggled against the best teams with just one win in their past 13 games against opponents with winning records. The Orange are going to be in tough to rectify that record when they take on the Louisville Cardinals Friday.

Syracuse is also coming off a dominant Week 1 victory as they cruised past Colgate 33-7. Dino Babers' new no-huddle offense went for 554 yards on 81 plays, which is good for 6.8 yards per play. Sophomore QB Eric Dungey seems better suited to this offense, as he went 34 of 40 for 355 yards and two touchdowns.
